The numbers are in and Wiz Kalifa, Chris Brown, and Rihanna are leading the Billlboard charts for hip hop! The Wiz sold 55,828 that week, Chris Brown sold 51,017, and Rihanna sold 20,434. With many other album expecting to drop in the next few weeks we will have to see how these positions change in the future!

It seems that Rappers turn to Actors and Actors turn to Rappers all the time, but rappers turning into authors!?!? Birdman who also goes by Baby is releasing a book to inform his readers on criminal justice. The Book is entitled “Raw Law”. There has not yet been a release date on the book. Should Rappers stick to what they do best os should they pursue other talents?

Puff Daddy… sorry P. Diddy, or is it Diddy? Wait… I think its Diddy “Dirty Money”? Whatever he calls himself now signed with CAA- Creative Actors Agency as an actor. While his last album fell through the cracks I guess he gave up the music game and is going to acting! I guess only time will tell how he does. Personally I Think he should just stick to producing… What do you think??

Seems like one of the most anticipated albums of the decade has been pushed further and further back. The album was first talked about in 2003 when the legendary producer and rapper, Dr. Dre announced he was coming out of retirement. The new release date all over his website is APRIL 1st. Lets not forget this is also April Fool’s Day. Is this another joke or will the album actually drop??? With singles off “Detox” being dropped for once, such as “Kush” it seems like it may actually happen this time! we still have a few months so i guess we will just have to see what happens…

The Carter 4 is almost finished! Fresh out of jail, Lil Wayne is back to work. Mack Maine, CEO of Young Money, told his sources that the album needs just 2 more songs. There is no release date confirmed yet but hopefully we will see it soon! Will this album be a success like “The Carter 3” or a bust like “Rebirth”? I guess only time will tell…
